Genetically identical to Primitivo, Zinfandel, Crljenak Kaštelanski and Tribidrag. Produces dry, full-bodied, ripe reds with a hint of sweetness on the finish. A genuine Balkan native, shared with Montenegro and Dalmatia rather than exclusive to any one of them.
