Temjanika

Temjanika

North Macedonia · White · Available (A–B)

Domestically the most popular white by some distance. The name covers both an aromatic Muscat-like cultivar that may originate in Romania or the Balkans and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains itself; either way it is usually vinified dry to semi-dry. Orange blossom, grape and citrus peel, typically made reductively in tank to preserve aromatics. Not native in the strict sense, but thoroughly naturalised and widely exported.
